Weird question of the day: What's the japanese word for "Turtle"?

And here I find myself downloading more Puchi Puri Yuushi. It's a silly, silly anime, but given it's based off of the /Princess Maker/ games...Well. It sort of adds a fun dimension to things. Yuushi and her fellow princess candidates are working as maids today? Guess they need to get their refinement up! And clearly the Fairy Princess Beth is stuck in delinquent mode. And oh, it really REALLY sucks to be the Daughter of God...But at least your daddy sends you pretty dresses for the castle ball.

That said, if there's one thing that's keeping me watching this crazy series...It's the fact that the Ghost Princess (Kokoru) and the Fairy Princess are so femslashy it's not even funny. They blush! They hold hands! They saw eachother at the ball! Beth ran away after Kokoru told her she looked good in a dress! And watches her out of the corner of her eye while she's trying to be the Cool Brooding Loner of the series and gets all horribly flustered when Kokoru thanks her for things. I am smitten.

...And for a series that takes its camp with stride (We must work together to find the Crystal Flowers! So that one of us can become the PLATINA PRINCESS) it gets surprisingly sad at times. Like Erumina (Princess of Heaven. I kid you not.) and her father issues (Which actually get kind of annoying after awhile...But darnit the episode with that Lord and his runaway daughter almost made me sniffle.) And Yuushi's father's past with the queen. And the fact that they're all seventeen year olds trapped at thirteen (Or something like that...Lolicons dream, really but isn't that the spirit of the Princess Maker games anyway?). And I shouldn't like this series much as I do. It's baaad. But it's a fun kind of bad and, hell. Kokoru and Beth are cute, damnit.
