I'll bet you the carrot was in league with that seagull. Those birds are tricky, you know.

Now sparrows, however, have been deemed the ninja throwing stars of the bird world by yours truly and the rest of the "Honors" kids in the wee most hours of the morning.

...I was going somewhere with this, I think. Or perhaps I just wanted you to know that the seagulls attack me too. (This may be due to that one time afterschool when I kept scaring them away from the sandwich remains that the janitor had left out for them. I was bitter! And hungry! ...Now they follow me with those beedy little eyes of theirs and I know that they're watching me...)
