Jun. 17th, 2003 01:58 pmI've long ago suspected my dog is secretly a cat. She does nothing to shake this notion. Love that bitch.
Sent my courses in, which is both a relief and a Oh Shit It's Happening moment. I'm torn between giddyness and complete and utter TERROR. This is college! This'll be cool! Time to grow up! ...I'm not ready for this.
Finished Kushiel's Chosen yesterday. Well, not so much finished as I did skip to the grand finale, which I recall doing with the first book. Both kinda dragged at times. My thoughts? Bisexual french masochists fit into an interesting world, but are kinda fuckwitty in the narrator department. Phédre, dear? Get ON with it. I continue to *heart* Joscelin, though. And am rapidly developing something of a crush on Melisande as well.
Scrapped what I had of the Hyuga-fic the other day in favor of a new start. I'd blame Neji for being a diva, but this time the fault lies entirely on Hiashi--I don't like you, Hiashi. Why do you insist on talking so much? And being so damn fun to write?
So now it's moving along...Slowly. But it beats the pace I was making before. Which was, well, nothing at all.
Long pieces are not my forte, which is exactly why I want to write them.
Meanwhile, my dear Kii plays what has to be the cutest Rock Lee EVER. Even if she has a pentient for drawing him disturbingly pretty.
