yuletide is live and it is totally epic. As far as pretty things that I got for Christmas go I received Hair of the Dog, which everyone should go read. It's Black Lagoon and it is awesome. A good, punchy fic with a strong, clever style that had me rolling. Go read it if you like your dirty drinking pirates! I don't share my Black Lagoon love often but reading fic like this makes me realize I really should.
As far as Yuletide Treats go, I also received Fledglings. It's Final Fantasy Tactics, Delita/Ovelia. Short and sweet and just a bit twisted and sad. In a word, rather true to canon. There just aren't enough of these two out there, so this was a nice added surprise.
