...I stayed home from work because there was a ton of ice on the roads this morning! So thus, in lieu of being a Bad Employee and in the spirit of the Holidays, I went and beat Prince of Persia.
For a lack of spoilers what I have to say is this:
Whoa
Did the game really just make me do that?
Yes, yes it did. Uh. Damn. Damn. Well! It was a gorgeously rendered, fun ride all through but, uh. My hats off to you Ubisoft, for that ballsy final act. Everyone should play this game. It's easy, yeah, but not in a way that deters from having a whole lot of fun. The world is eye candy and the game makes the most of it. The two main characters have great chemistry that develops remarkably throughout the game. Nolan North -that's Vossler, in FFXII, for those of you just joining us-- has my heart for making the Prince as gruff and loveable as promised. The final boss is sort of terrifying. And THAT ENDING, OH MY GOD, THAT ENDING.
"Oh, great. Now he's ON FIRE."
WELL AND A HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL THOSE LOVELY PEOPLE ON MY F-LIST, TOO.
