I've had the theory - it's probably wrong, but I think it's an interesting thought - that Naruto is really, like, a virgin birth sort of creation from the sealing of the Nine-Tails with the Hokage. So, that in a crazy way, he is the Fourth! And is, you know, a ninja Christ child, which is what we all need in our lives.

Naruto has two daddies! ...one of them is a giant demon fox, though.
