Oddly I never really thought much of Mytho or Rue before either. First time around in Princess Tutu was aaaall about ZOMG FAKIR AND AHIRU (...and to be frank, still is.) but rewatching the series and seeing Rue and her mass of insecurity and sadness and desperation and also her absolutely awesome prissiness made me feel she deserved a little Happy.
