Multichapter AU: Ed and Al are brothers in 1800s Germany. They were super-close as children but have now drifted apart: Al is an up and coming military man, Ed is a drunken research scientist with huge psychological issues due to his relationship with God and incestuous feelings for his brother. Some convinient twist of plot has them living together. LET THE SEXUAL HEALING BEGIN! Must be as much turn of the century gothic romance novelesque as possible.
