...man, anyone remember those days when the drabble memes were the new black?

Give me the names of two characters and I will tell you why character A loves or wants to jump character B. I might answer with a drabble, a quick bit of meta, or a list, just to make things that tiny bit more OMGSOEXCITING!

-because Will marched in, set his bags down, and decided the first day of living with him that so help me, Franz Sabel, we will be friends, and Will is amazingly stubborn about getting the right people to like him. Even if they are annoyed as hell by him. Like Franz was. Persistance paid off, as they ended up as a little more than friends.

-because of his energy. Will is lewd, ill-mannered, and shameless as anyone who was raised in an Elizabethan theater setting would be. On the flipside he's also streetsmart, witty, and amazingly passionate about life in general. It's infectious. Will's the sort of guy who, damn him, brightens one's day without you even realizing he's done it. He aims to make life an endless entertainment, and it's only when that presence is diminished in some way that you realize day to day things get just a little bit duller without him around. Franz resolved, therefore, to keep him around.

-Franz, this is your wang. Franz's wang, this is Will. Allow him to introduce you both. Will put Franz through quite a crisis about his sexuality. He made him realize he had one.

-because he probably saved him from giving himself a fatal stroke due to stress at age, like, twenty. Before he met Will, he was intense, work-obsessed, and insanely driven. After he met Will he was intense, work-obsessed, and insanely driven... but at least he knows when to sit down and drink his tea. And how to laugh, at least a little bit.

-because they've been together for years now and he would have no other.

-the first time Will saw Franz, Franz was armed, disheveled, yelling his head off, and getting his ass very thoroughly kicked by Fritz. Franz picked himself up, all covered in dust and sweat, snarled off any help that any of the household servants who dared offer him assistance, and went stalking off to the baths, murder in his eyes. Will happened to find this totally hot.

-he likewise also happened to find half-naked Franz in said baths pouring water over his head even hotter

-...that said, he wanted nothing more than friendship and general camraderie at that point. Franz's first order of business after asking him who the HELL he was was to kick him out. He was not aiming to accept any pleasantries. Will, who is a little bit messed in the head, decided he liked the challenge that Franz presented. In just about everything Franz did. Franz was sullen, abrasive, and highly suspicious of everything everyone did. Will considered getting even a smile out of him a worthwhile accomplishment...Will believes getting someone to smile is always a worthwhile accomplishment. But with Franz it was tenfold.

-And it really was. But getting him to laugh was even better.

-Franz is a jealous, posessive husband. No, seriously, Will loves this. There is nothing as endearing to him as Franz's PSYCHOTIC STREAK. The fact that Franz would probably kill him were he ever untrue is somehow thrilling to know! ...more so given Will's never intending to BE untrue partly because he MARRIED INTO MONEY

-partly because Franz is Franz

-and psychotic

-and fun as hell to be around

-and psychotic

-...and also one of the most generous people Will as ever known. No, no, sod off, he means it. He can't tell you exactly why, as it's a terribly well kept secret. But it's true, and Will really does love him for it.

So I know I must seem like a total creeper for responding to this post FOUR YEARS after you made it, but I seriously ship these two SO HARD CORE ( please excuse my gratuitous use to caps lock...). Please, please, please, if it ever strikes your fancy to write for these two again (or...I don't know...continue the RP I am following with embarrassing verve) post it.

For the record, I also think Felix X Jolanka is the best thing since sliced bread. It's just that I'm a total closet fangirl and Franz and Will have such a multi-faceted and well-developed relationship. Well done to you and halyconjazz.
