1. One True Pairing Ship: Cid/Shera, oddly enough. You people can argue till the cows come home about whether or not Cloud goes for Tifa, or Aerith. But these two were the ones I actually cared about more than anything at the end of the day. (OT3, however: Zack/Cloud/Aerith. HEY CLOUD. GO BACK TO MIDGAR AND BANG MY GIRLFRIEND, OKAY?)

2. Canon Ship: They got hitched and he NAMED HIS SHIP AFTER HER. I THINK THAT IS ONE OF THE FEW BITS OF CANON FROM THE COMPILATION I SHALL ACCEPT.

3. "If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship: Cloud/any incarnation of sephiroth ever. NO. FUCK YOU PEOPLE NO. IN WHAT WORLD WOULD THAT EVEN BE CONSENSUAL, ANY WAY?!

4. "You are one sick bastard" Ship: THE NON-SUCKY VERSION OF VINCENT AND LUCRETIA IN MY HEAD. THE ONE WHERE SHE WAS AN AMORAL SCIENTIST WHO ONLY DEVELOPED A CONSCIENCE TOO LATE AND IS NOW HAULING HER ASS AROUND AS A CREEPY UNDEAD JENOVA ZOMBIE AND PROBABLY ONLY EVER FOUND HIS THING FOR HER MILDLY FLATTERING.

Well, okay. Tseng/Aerith too. (god Tseng you like 'em young.)

5. "I dabble a little" Ship: Tseng/Elena. Especially post-AC, where they apparently survived TORTURE together and made it through the wilderness? Yes. And Reno/Rude. Lotta Turk going on here. Also, Zack/Cloud. Cloud/Aerith. Various amalgations of the three.

6. "It's like a car crash" Ship: Cloud/.... Kunsel, from Crisis Core. Yeah, as in the random extra who kept spamming Zack's inbox.

7. "Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: Cloud/Tifa? Tifa/Johnny? Anything involving Tifa?

8. "Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship: ... Red XIII/Dark Nation. ... ... maybe that should go up in the 'You Sick BASTARD' column.

9. "Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: Cloud/Tifa. It's nobodies fault but the fact that the original game REALLY did not try to give her a consistant characterization OR A PERSONALITY. It's sad too! They totally have the elements of a pair I could really like! SHE has the elements of a character I could really like! but she was just...dating game option B!
