you're going to land on Amtrak at Union Station. I'm not familiar with the layout but they'll probably have lots of signs pointing to the Metrorail proper.
Take the Red Line (the only line in that station) towards Shady Grove. Get off 3 stops later at Metro Center.
The Metro Center station is two levels. Go to the bottom level, which takes you to the blue/orange line trains. Take the orange line train to Vienna. And ... get off in Vienna. It's the last stop, I promise you can't miss it. XD;; Somewhere between Ballston and East Falls Church you'll end up above ground.
When you get to Vienna you'll go up the escalators and exit the turnstiles to a T-intersection. Go to the right. When you get out of the covered portion of the station, turn left and walk to the edge of the parking lot/road immediately in front of you. That's where you'll find me and my little red Honda. =D
The fare is $4.50 and the approximate time to arrival is 40-50 minutes. =D
