I'm really glad that Coraline had a friend in this version. And it did help to push the story along some.

Yeah the 3D aspect was shockingly well integrated but damn was I not comfortable at those sharp things coming RIGHT AT MY FACE.

God I loved it. And I agree that Wybie was so wonderful, despite being movie-only! But it definitely wouldn't have done for Coraline to talk to herself half the time. Good move on Henry Selick's part.
