One thing I do like about my job is that I can call things pertaining to it 'well hung' and it's a perfectly work safe comment. Oh, the Museum.

I think it's that time of year. I need to get my write on, and to do that I need to get my ramble on, and also fair's fair, so I'm going to go and steal this old diddy from [livejournal.com profile] puella_nerdii:

Give me a character I have written, and I will list three facts about them from my personal headcanon.

-is ridiculously intelligent! Knows several ancient languages, has a good grounding in architecture spanning over a thousand years, and knows what a dumbwaiter is. He has all of the grounding required of someone who is essentially the paranormal equivalent of Indiana Jones. He spent a lot of his youth roving from university to university and crashing all sorts of classes (and parties). He knows a little bit about everything and a lot pertaining to his particular business of slogging through ancient castles fighting nasties. That said, he's also weirdly closeted about it. He hides National Geographics inside of titty magazines okay. But everyone knows what he's really reading.

-is, indeed, Italian. Nero lives in Not!Rome, and Dante lives in not!Florence. He actually comes from a little more north than that, but he migrated after his mother died.

- ...contrary to what he nearly always claims, he actually LOVES kids. Considering the fact he knows every single ice cream parlor in the city, and considering he is not exactly the most normal looking person in the world, he often winds up in conversation with them. They're easily impressed by him and Dante loves it when people are impressed by him in general. His secret ambition is to one day have a few himself. Like, a whole sports team of 'em. He has shared this with no one and won't be doing so for a very, very long time.
