My grandmother once had a dog who brought home an entire birthday cake. Icing still on it. Whole. And in his mouth. To this day my grandmother has no idea where he got it.
(By the by, I've been meaning to comment on your journal for awhile now. I quite enjoy reading your entries, not to mention the sporadic fics. ...Tho, admittedly, I wish sporadic was more of a everyday occurence. Hee.)
Y'don't know me, but I'm on a random journal-wandering through friends' lists and thought this worthy of mention. My mother's dog barks at the concrete rabbit in her back yard. And steals food given the chance.
My grandparents dog now could probably do it. He used to love to escape, and once he took a route by water--really, right in front of us, too. No one expected him to SWIM away to the neighboring beach. Had to jump a fence to head him off. It's an interesting experience, leading a wet dog through a country club.
