You know, there's one good reason why I think that the Fourth Hokage is Naruto's father. Not so much because of the strange resembalance, or all that talk of Naruto being his legacy...No.
...I think he is Naruto's father because he had to get the damn baby from somewhere.
"Um. Hi. Kyubi attacking, gotta run and all but, er...Can I borrow your baby for a second?"

...but it's just a theory.

Date: 2003-06-22 08:58 pm (UTC)...I guess one of the reasons I like to think of the Fourth as Naruto's father 'cause it adds more to the fun Naruto-Gaara parallels the manga seems to like to bean ya with. Although--hey. wait, would that make Gaara the Anti-Christ?
(....Or maybe his Twin Star--no.)

Date: 2003-06-22 09:53 pm (UTC)The way I saw that bit was that the Third had failed in that sealing jutsu... it wasn't done completely, he couldn't pull it off, so it just sealed Orochimaru's arms... so if he'd succeeded, maybe we would have had some terrible evil combination of the Third and Orochimaru! ...boy, and you thought it couldn't get worse than Naruto...]

Nothing spells 'too into the series' like when you start to draw biblical parallels. Sasuke is so totally Judas, and just wait, Iruka will deny Naruto. ...I've been in college too long.

Naruto... I am... your... (and then the manga dissolves into seven books of gears and feathers and vague proclimations about the Day of Destiny)
