She spreads her arms and takes a running start off the sidewalk. It’s a little like a runway so it doesn’t take all that much to be airborne. She climbs at a good solid velocity. She breaks the sound barrier. She nearly nicks a fighter plane. She escapes the atmosphere. It is only when she finds herself drifting outside of The Big Dipper that she realizes, oh. Oh no. She has gone a little far. A little too far. What is she going to—

--and here, Ichigo taps her on the shoulder very cautiously, because the last time he took her by surprise she almost broke his nose. “…Oi, Inoue,” he says, scowling, glaring firmly off to his right. “I guess Friday works.”

“…oh?” She stares blankly a moment, and then is bright red, redder than Mars even. “Oh! I’m so glad, Kurosaki-kun. I’m really really glad…but…”

She trails off in a troubled mumble.

“ ‘But’…?”

“…I probably should have taken a left turn back at Jupiter.”

“Oh,” says Ichigo, “…well, Friday still works.”
