Crap. The Golden Compass website is making this movie look like it won't be totally crappy! They've corrected the pronounciation of Daemon! The music is sort of pretty! I used to play the "WHAT DAEMON WOULD SO AND SO HAVE" game when I was 21 12!

Definitely my favorite book growing up.

I'm having high hopes due to the cast, but arrrggghhh. It's so scary when one of your favorites stories of all time is thrown to Hollywood. Will they nail it? Butcher it? Water it down or make it lame? *scared* X___X
