oh boy, I actually have a lot of these. But I'll keep it brief:
Miles Edgeworth has a terrible memory. He forgets faces of business associates, names, general locations, details of previous trials he's handled--sometimes really obvious stuff. He organizes things so strictly mostly because he'll forget where things are if he doesn't. This is probably a combination of very little sleep and a longstanding case of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He's never ruled out the fact that it might very well just be a result of brain damage due to that time he was kind of stuck in an elevator with no air. It is irritating.
Miles Edgeworth wears contacts. His vision is pretty damn bad. He'd wear glasses, except that'd make him look a little too much like his dad, and he's really not sure how he feels about that. But the world is pretty darn blurry to him on default. And he has a VERY SPECIFIC PLACE that he puts them each night (when he actually sleeps) because he'll...forget where the hell they are otherwise. When he starts sleeping with Phoenix this becomes a serious problem, as Phoenix's place pretty much follows no standard logic whatsoever as far as where things end up in the morning.
Miles Edgeworth's office shelves are all legal books, right up to the top. There is a total of one book in his collection that isn't. It is a battered copy of To Kill A Mockingbird, which he keeps in his desk, because his father is Gregory Peck used to read it to him. He feels it is a necessary text.
