The Cat's name is 'Pi', or, when The Cat has been naughty, gets Full Named to 'Come here, 3.14159265'. The Cat gets better treatment than the average grad student. Said grad students were generally assigned to take care of The Cat's needs when Rodney felt their usefulness had run out. This usually always happens.
Rodney and his sister used to solve local mysteries together, to avoid going home after school. They had enough adventures together to write a whole damn series of children's mystery novels. Math Usually Saved The Day, but sometimes Jeannie's ability to climb trees helped.
Rodney gets very antsy about letting John near his laptop. This is because John has installed REALLY FREAKING BIZARRE screensavers on his laptop before. Or change his wallpaper. Or make it play the theme from Top Gun when it boots up. Rodney has it under password, but John somehow always manages to figure it out. Current password: 3.14159265
