Okay screw it FICBITS ARE ON. You know the drill: REQUEST CHARACTERS/PAIRING/SERIES AND I WILL ATTEMPT TO PRODUCE SOMETHING OF A VAGUELY APPROPRIATE LENGTH.

I can't think of any clever additions to it this time, so it'll just be a free-for-all. No points for stumping me. EXTRA points for anyone who requests Ergo Proxy of the whole three people on my f-list who've now watched it

“I am well, Vincent Law. There is no need for concern.” No one could’ve looked less concerned than Kristeva. She stood perfectly level against the ship’s slow sway. The hand on the tiller stayed poised and unmoved.

“You’ve been there for awhile,” said Vincent, frowning. The Entourage cocked her head at him. He was sure that if she had eyebrows one of them would’ve been raised.

“I do not tire.”

“That’s not exactly true.”

“My power supply is sufficient at this time.”

Vincent smoothed back his hair with a sigh. Arguing with Kristeva proved hard. Mostly because anything he said to her felt a little like high treason.

“All the same,” he said, slowly, because he had to word it just right, “You’re a part of our crew now. We take shifts at the helm. Even if it’s not a physical issue, it wouldn’t be right of us to make you do it all day just because you can.”

Kristeva’s eyes shifted from a dark blue to a dark red to a dark blue again. She was scanning him oddly. “Your concerns are noted,” she said, at last. “But at this moment they would be much better placed with Re-l Mayer.”

“Re-l? Em. Why?”

Pino chose that moment to twirl around his leg. “Son of a bitch!” she caroled happily. “Son of a bitch! Son of a…”

“Pino!”

“That would be why, Vincent Law,” said Kristeva.
